These Terms & Conditions govern the use of thearoids.com and the purchase of products through the site. By placing an order you expressly accept these terms.
1. Provider identity
THE AROIDS is a brand operated by Néstor Castro, an individual with business activity (Mexico). Registered fiscal address available upon request at contacto@thearoids.com.
2. Capacity and acceptance
To purchase you must be of legal age and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. By completing checkout you confirm you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
3. Made-to-Order products
Each piece is produced specifically for you after payment is confirmed. We do not hold inventory. This has two important consequences: (a) delivery times include production (2-5 business days) plus shipping (6-8 business days within Mexico); (b) due to the personalized nature of the product, no returns apply for buyer's remorse or wrong size, except for manufacturing defects or shipping errors (see section 7).
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN) and include VAT when applicable. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards processed by Stripe, Inc. with end-to-end encryption. We do not store card data. We may modify prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is the one in force at the moment of confirmation.
5. Order confirmation
Upon completing checkout you will receive a confirmation email. Order acceptance is conditional on payment verification and availability of the selected size and color. If for any reason we cannot fulfill your order we will notify you and refund the full amount.
6. Shipping
Shipping is handled through our manufacturer Printful, Inc. and its carrier network. Current rates to Mexico: $340 MXN for 1 piece, $500 MXN for 2 pieces, $660 MXN for 3 pieces. Total estimated time: 8-13 business days from order confirmation. Free shipping on orders over $999 MXN. Once the package is delivered to the carrier, transit risks are governed by the carrier's terms.
7. Returns for defects
You have 14 calendar days from delivery to report manufacturing defects or shipping errors (wrong size, color or product). Email contacto@thearoids.com with your order number and photos showing the defect. If applicable, we will replace the item at no cost or refund the amount to your original payment method. We do not accept returns for aesthetic reasons, change of mind or size incorrectly chosen by the customer.
8. Intellectual property
All designs, illustrations, photographs, editorial texts and graphic elements of the site are exclusive property of THE AROIDS or licensed for our use. Buying a piece grants you only the right to personal use of the physical product; it does not transfer any rights over the designs. Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of the designs without written authorization is prohibited.
9. User conduct
You agree to use the site lawfully, to provide accurate data during registration and checkout, and to refrain from reverse engineering, mass scraping or any attempt to compromise the security of the site.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount actually paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights established by Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law.
11. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time by publishing the updated version on this page. Changes apply to orders placed after publication.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the consumer may opt for the administrative procedures of PROFECO under the Federal Consumer Protection Law, or for the competent courts of the buyer's domicile.
